I installed these chimes in a public area and constantly get comments about how much they have added to the environment. With the ability to add complimenting chimes, this has been a great investment and we plan to install both larger and smaller chimes to compliment these.

I purchased this for my wife over 1.5 years ago for Mother's day. This is a large and heavy chime. I ended up sinking a post in concrete and handing it off of a decorative hook. When the wind gets it going, the sound is beautiful. Much lower in tone, than what you would think of as a typical wind chime...after a full year in the weather, they still look brand new..they are beautifully made, and very durable.
If you have a place for a large chime, I would recommend them.

Gorgeous in sound and appearance. Finishing the cords at the top of the chime could have been done a bit more neatly as they are all just tied off with no supplied ring or hangar, but aside from that this is a big, beautiful chime. It is HEAVY. do not purchase if you are looking for a chime to hang from anything other than a strong support such as a ceiling beam. Cannot comment on weathering in the winter as I have taken it in. Not exactly a bargain, but I fell in love with it.

I have had these for a while now and love them! My sister suggested I get them based on her having a set. Looked them up in Amazon and was able to hear the actual sounds that the different sizes make. Selected this one and ordered it. As a Prime member, shipping was free and fast and I put it up that weekend. You will need something substantial to hang it from. I built a frame from pipe [top rails of chain link fence]. Sounds are beautiful and so relaxing! The sounds online are very indicative of what you will actually hear! The chimes themselves are well built with quality throughout. I expect them to last many years without having to restring. The basic component should last forever. Really a great item.
