Woodstock chimes Jan 21, 2002
By Denise Wegge Woodstock has the best sounding wind chimes I have owned. They can be tolerated by most anyone - even those who dislike the tinkling of most other chimes! Everyone who comes over comments on the beautiful sound of the chimes. Since they are properly pitched, musicians can even enjoy these! The baritone is my favorite, with its rich, warm lower tones.Don't be taken back by their price - you get your money's worth with chimes from Woodstock.

Deepest Sound Jul 27, 2003
By T. Kraemer This chime was a gift for my wife last Spring. We loved it so much I've made all the different tones of Gregorian presents for special occasions. Now we have them all, so I'm starting at the top again to put more on the other side of the house. These need just a little wind to make a nice sound. The Baritone is amazing and worth getting first. The wind catcher is balanced nicely butit will take a bit more wind than for the smaller models. Consider putting it higher where more breezes will make it chime. Put it outside, near a window to enjoy the sounds indoors. A great and gentle addtiion to any outdoor setting.

Beautiful!! Jun 19, 2006

I was surprised by how big this windchime really is. If you are looking for a windchime with deeper tones to it, this is it. It sounds so beautiful. Word to the wise though, if you go to Woodstocks website and check some of the other online vendors through them, you can find it a lot cheaper!

baritone chimes Woodstock Apr 24, 2001
My little brother got this chime for Christmas. I love it! It has the nicest sound of any chime I have ever heard! The Baritone chimes have a deeper tone, which is very soft as well like Swiss cow bells We have these hanging outside of the front door.I enjoy it each time we go out. Great

Not quite as advertised... Jul 29, 2006
By Forest7 Those who buy this 56" windchime should know that the longest chime is 32"... and so it doesn't have the deep tones that Gregorian baritone implies. Baritone what? My wife likes it, so I'll keep it, but I don't think it is truth in advertising. And it's probably my first and only purchase from this maker, because I have no idea what I am buying.
I would like to add, in 2009, that I have grown to really like this wind chime. Its sound is pleasant, not real deep, but pleasant. It is still important to me to know how long the actual chimes of a wind chime are before a purchase... which is difficult to determine from the description.
