natures melody Jul 06, 2007

I absolutely LOVE this windchime-in fact I bought two, b/c I couldnt decide on one-so I have both hanging outside my window. Beautiful and delicate, the chimes lifts my spirits and comfort me, each time there is the slightest of breezes. One day my neighbor told me that the windchimes blew down! How could I have missed that-oh the silence! So I quickly retreived them from her and rehung the chimes. There is nothing like them-no cheap store chime can come close. Just beautiful!

Celestial Harmonics Dec 15, 2010
By Mark Lybarger-Monson I hung multiple Woodstock Gregorian wind chimes (tenor, alto, soprano and little gregorian) spread out at the front of my house. It sounds like a symphony celestial bliss in a medieval tuning system (just intonation) that Gregorian chants were sung in. I am going to purchase sets for relatives as well (one for Christmas, another for a birthday, etc.). How often do you find wind chimes that are not only fine-tuned to the ratios of special tuning systems, but can also be purchased to make a set where each is in tune with the others? The little gregorian creates the effect of overtones to the larger/lower chimes. It is lovely.

Too delicate to hear Jun 02, 2009
By Diane E. Beck In my opinion too small and too delicate a sound. I like my Gregorian Alto ones much better.
Delicate But Need A Good Continuous Breeze Apr 30, 2012

I bought 3 Woodstock chimes in one day and only one was as satisfying in sound as my original from a thrift shop. This one is delicate, but wimpy . Have it right by your window if you want to hear it.
Delicate and Beautiful Mar 23, 2012
By F. M. Pepoon We have several wind chimes in our yard that are of medium to large size and ring rather loudly. I was looking for lighter, softer chimes to place in a side yard with a hammock. These chimes turned out to be perfect, along with the Gregorian Soprano chimes. The notes are delicate and beautiful, and the two chimes together are quite soothing and nicely harmonious, without being too loud. These chimes begin to ring with a breeze of about 5 miles per hour, and even in a recent 20-mile-an-hour wind were not too loud or jangly. In fact, I have to concentrate to hear them when standing inside at the nearest window (with the window closed.) They are perfect for a smaller outdoor area, although it should be noted that they are hard to hear once I get about 15 yards away.
