Stunning! Jan 02, 2009
By K. This thing is a work of art. The sound is simply stunning and it looks as stunning as it sounds. Anyone who buys this will know what I mean as soon as they take it out of the box and remove the protective wrapping. I'm not sure what the musical terminology is, whether it's vibrato or reverberation, or what. But the full, clear, rich, musical sound of the notes reverberates(?) when struck. The elegant black square tubes contrasted with the light ash wood would be right at home around a Frank Lloyd Wright house.
I've heard much larger chimes that don't compare to the sound of this piece of work. If you like chimes, you will love this one. If you've never had one before, this one will spoil you for any of the others.

Great Chime! Nov 20, 2010

I bought this chime 1 year, 2 months ago, and can honestly say that it has weathered intense heat (up to 121F - I live in Arizona!) and major windstorms (at times we have days on end of wind that can gust up to 40-50mph) and this chime looks as good as the day that I bought it! With other chimes I would have to remove them from the time the winds would pick up or risk having them destroyed in no time - but not this one! I haven't brought it down since the day it went up and it continues to look and sound fabulous. I particularly was looking for chime that had a slightly deeper sound - I hate the tinny sound of most smaller chimes. This one has a beautiful sound that is very soothing to the ears. A must buy!!!

Gorgeous bell-like sound, very attractive Jul 10, 2009
By Andante51 I saw these in a store today, and it was all I could do to resist buying them. They are much cheaper here. They look very attractive, classy, and unique, but the sound is also very nice. They have more of a bell type sound than the other Woodstock wind chimes, and do not have that 'clanging' factor some can have, even if you try to make a racket in the store. I will probably turn around and get them here. I am picky, have a lot of other windchimes, and am a musician, and these have a REALLY sweet sound I would not tire of.

I ordered these windchimes I liked the look and sound and had great customer reviews They are nice looking but have yet to hear them unless I hit the striker and we have had some good gusts of wind. I didnt want a display piece I wanted to hear chimes. I had an old non name set for nearly 8 years which sounded good with a hint of a breeze Other than looks not impressed with these chimes!
