Beautiful sound Aug 11, 2010 I just love the sound this earth chime makes, very soothing. The description is a bit misleading. Apparently only parts of the chime are made in the USA, the rest and assembly is done in China. I would much rather buy a product maek in the USA.
Beautiful, soothing tone Jul 03, 2010 After listening to many windchimes on their website, I chose Earth. It has a beautiful, soothing tone. The design of the windchime is very attractive.
A Perfect Gift Jun 17, 2010 I love wind chimes (have a dozen or so myself) and purchased this Woodstock (who make the best wind chimes) as a gift. It arrived quickly and in time for the birthday (actually a day before) recipient. I think she liked it cause she hung it up immediately. Good price on Amazon!
Love this wind chime! Jun 02, 2010 I've always loved wind chimes. I love the way they sound and the way they look. After going to the Woodstock website and listening to clips of each wind chime (which I suggest you do!), I was torn between the Earth chime and the Olympos chime. The next day we went to the store to pick up some potting soil, stopped to look at the wind chimes, and what do you know? They had one of these Earth chimes! And it even cost $5 less than on Amazon. We bought it, ran home, and hung it up right outside our living room window. I was a little afraid of it being too noisy since it's so big (I don't want to bother the neighbors), but thankfully it's fine. It isn't usually very windy here, and the amount of wind we do get is just right to get the chime moving a little bit without being too loud. Today is actually pretty windy and right now the chime is going louder than I've ever heard it before, but it's still not excessively loud. Quiet enough that we can slept through it fine, even though the wind chime is right below our opened bedroom window. Also, since the tones are lower than most wind chimes, I don't think it would be as irritating to people who don't enjoy chimes. It sounds beautiful- the notes linger and kind of melt together. Not clanky at all. So if you're looking for a wind chime that sounds wonderful and probably won't annoy your neighbors (unless you live in an apartment or your neighbors are only a couple feet away), go for this one!
Beautiful May 10, 2010 I love this chime. It's heavy enough to prevent the jangling sounds that cheaper chimes have. The sound is just lovely and lingers.
