Great sound Mar 08, 2010
Bought these wind chimes as a gift for a lady-friend for Valentines Day and we hung them in her front poarch. The sound/tones is incredible. Well worth the cost, which was very reasonable.

I was somewhat disappointed that "alto" was not as low of a tone as I thought it was...hard to judge from the description because no size is mentioned and this made me reluctant to purchase. Although I was hoping for a lower tone, the sound is great, really great...with the best resonation of any of the chimes I own. I would have purchased a larger one if I could have figured out which ones might be lower. I'm not "educated" in anything musical so this could be a personal fault. However, I do think if the lenght of the tubes were listed, someone like me would be able to buy exactly what I wanted and would have given a 5 star rating...not the fault of the product..only the description.

I bought this for my self for Christmas. I put it outside and it sounds so beautiful, the sound is so soothing. i will be buying more.

I wasn't sure what I would be getting but it's really nice. They sound great. I'm thinking the deeper tone one's to compliment...
When I want less/no sound I just take the piece of wood that catches the wind and place it on top and then only if the wind it high will it make any noise. I'm not sure if that's supposed to be a feature, but it is for me.

Great sound, and great durability! I've had these on my back step for over a year and they still look like they're brand new! Great sound too for the gregorian tone. I would recommend getting the other octaves too!
