I sent this as a B-day gift to my mother who is an avid gardener/landscaper. She called me immediately upon receiving this, and although she has quite a few chimes, she commented on how beautiful these sounded. She told me they reminded her of church bells which for her (and myself) are a soothing, comforting sound. I did go to the original site to listen to the sounds before choosing, and Amazon offers this at an unbeatable price!

The vespers have a beautiful low sounds. It's great that the chimes are rectangular in shape. I love it.

These windchimes were a gift for Christmas for my mom. They sound beautiful and I cannot wait for her to hang them in her garden so the neighbor's can enjoy them too. So peaceful and calming. I would purchase this item again for anyone who enjoy's the sound of soothing chimes.
